CHELWOOD FOOD BANK

This week, some of the children from the School Council went to Morrisons to spend some of the money that we raised during Lent so that we could donate some items to the Chelwood Foodbank.  The children chose the items themselves and worked out how much to spend on each so that we did not exceed our budget.  We then visited the Food Bank to donate the items and some additional funds from our Lent fundraising.  The food bank were very grateful for our donation and showed the children how the food bank works.

Gambian School Children

When we revamped our school library, we sent our old books over to the school in The Gambia where we sponsor 2 children.  The books were taken over by our old caretaker, Al.  The children were delighted to receive them and sent a message of thanks.
