PE
Year 1 PE is timetabled on Monday
Please ensure your child's PE kit is in school on the above day.
PE kit is white t-shirt, black shorts and pumps / trainers. During the winter, children may wear black or blue jogging bottoms.
Homework
In Year 1, reading books are changed every Friday so please make sure your child has their book in school on a Friday so that we can swap them over.
Children are expected to read their books more than three times per week. This will make sure that they are secure in reading the words and become more fluent.
In the children's reading books, there are RED and GREEN WORDS at the beginning. There is also a list of 'words I need to know' in the children's reading record.
Children are encouraged to practice reading these words and writing them where possible.
